Amira was born in Somalia, Africa moving to the United States at 8 years of age. She always knew her calling was that of helping others and giving back to her community. Amira's dreams and passion blossomed in 2010 when she graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She began working as a bedside nurse in the acute hospital setting taking care of her patients. As her passion was being carried out of helping others she knew she could give back even more by becoming a Nurse Practitioner. As Amira was working bedside in the medical ICU she continued her education & in 2020 Amira became a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Practitioner! Amira began working as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in pulmonary critical care through the COVID 19 pandemic until she had a new vision, she wanted to aid her community in preventing illness through providing health education, resources, health coaching and providing access to healthcare that would not break the bank. Thus Saguaro Valley Health was born! Amira continues to expand her specialty knowledge in woman's/men's hormone health & regenerative wellness.

If you were to ask Heather's great-grandmother, she would tell you that Heather knew she wanted to be a nurse when she grew up at the age of 3 years old! Heather spent her younger years taking child care, basic life support, and survival classes within her community. In 2010 Heather's dream of becoming a nurse became reality when she graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing from Brookline Nursing Collage. Heather immediately put her stamp on nursing when she started working bedside in the acute hospital setting. Heather always knew she was going to continue her education, and she did in 2017, receiving her bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University along side of other specialty nursing certifications. Over the years, Heather's nursing roles have included bedside nurse, resource nurse, charge nurse, code blue team, continuous renal replacement therapy educator and nursing student clinical educator while working in Medical, Trauma and Surgical ICU, progressive cardiac care and acute long term care. After the COVID 19 pandemic, in 2022, Heather and Amira joined visions, to prevent illness, to provide education, resources and access to healthcare for everyone. They both wanted to meet their patients long before they ever became sick enough to be in the hospital.
